👉Under the influence of the upper air cyclonic circulation over northeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining Myanmar coast, a low pressure area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 02nd Sept 2025.
👉It is likely to become more marked over the same region during next 24 hours. It will move westnorthwestwards thereafter across Odisha during the subsequent 24 hours.
👉The monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Bikaner, Churu, Guna, Jabalpur, Pendra Road,
Keonjhargarh, centre of low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal.
👉The upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Rajasthan now lies over south Haryana & neighbourhoodand extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
👉The trough now runs from north Kashmir to northwest Madhya Pradesh across Punjab, Haryana, northeast Rajasthan and extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level.
👉The Western Disturbance now runs as a trough in middle & upper tropospheric level roughly along Long.
74°E to the north of Lat. 28°N with its axis at 3.1 & 7.6 km above mean sea level.
👉The trough from above cyclonic circulation over northeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining Myanmar coast to north coastal Odisha extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
